It was late. Students had been in bed for hours now and the house elves were hard at work cleaning. Olympia Rosewood sat in the kitchens, munching on a plate of sweets the house elves had offered her. Green eyes stared down at the half finished paperwork in front of her. It was the start of the new year and already requests for Quidditch pitch reservations were pouring in from her team. Ollie sat back and stretched her arms with a small groan as her back popped. The blonde woman loved her job. Charms professor and Head of Gryffindor house at Hogwarts.
Of course, being a Head of House meant for a lot more paperwork from the Headmistress, Grace. The bane of her existence, paperwork. A heave sigh left her lips as she reached out to grab a pastry off the plate that had magically refilled itself. "Can we get anything for you, mistress?" A small house elf squeaked next to her elbow. A friendly smile was cast down to the small creature as she nodded. "A glass of pumpkin juice would be wonderful." Ollie replied before she hunched back over the paperwork. Sweets were one of the only ways she could get through paperwork. Alcohol was the other, but she had already had more to drink than normal.
Ollie said a small thanks as the house elf placed a goblet and a pitcher of pumpkin juice on the table by her sweet plate. Green eyes looked back down to the paperwork she had started late. The kind Russian professor had brought the paperwork to her earlier and Ollie had been putting it off all day. Now, she regretted the decision immensely. It was well after midnight and she wasn't close to being finished. Not to mention the fact that her tired eyes were starting to blur the words together and she still had papers to grade. Some of her more studious students were hounding her about what their grades were on the essays. A sigh left her lips as she leaned back against the seat, picking up her filled goblet and looking around the kitchen at the busy house elves. Where was a friend when she needed one? Better yet, where was a teachers assistant that she could pass the paperwork on to?
